Our team

• Aneika – Salon Owner – Originally from Western Australia, I left school early to begin hairdressing and have not looked back. I moved to Queensland 5 years ago to take on the challange of owning my own salon, and have been moving onward and upward ever since.  At the moment, I am really enjoying working with bridal parties, extensions and permanently straightening hair. In 2011, I am looking forward to being more involved in competition and hair shows with all of my fantastic team.

• Arthur  -  Senior Stylist & Massuse  – I’m the best looking Male here!!!! Hair dressing is my life, and I have been a hairdresser for the most part of it, and I still absolutely love it.  I get the most out of my job when creating new looks for my clients by reshaping and colouring. Upstyles are my forte, and I’m inspired by fashion.

• Hannah – Senior Stylist and Beautician – I have recently completed my hairdressing apprenticeship under Aneika at The Green Room. I have always loved hair dressing and I now have the chance to further my career, get creative and show people some of my work. I have also completed my certificate 3 in beauty so am qualified to do anything from waxing, pedicures to spray tanning. My favourite aspects of hairdressing would be foiling and upstyles, foiling because you get to see the results of working with different colours and techniques and hair ups because of the creativity and artwork involved to create a style.  

• Jess – Apprentice & Beautician – After experiencing a couple of different career paths, I have found that I am truely passionate for hairdressing and beauty. It is rewarding making a person feel proud, happy and confident with their appearance and to achieve this everyday is a great feeling. I love following new fashion trends and keeping up to date with all the latest styles and designs. I am enjoying all the new and exciting techniques I am learning throughout my apprentiship from the talented senior stylist and cant wait to become a senior stylist myself and pass down the knowledge I have gained  to coming apprentices.

• Danielle – Apprentice – Im currently completing my certificate 3 in hairdressing school based. Ive been a school based apprentice at the Green Room since 2009. I am also completing my certificate 3 in beauty at Cairns Tafe. Eye lash extensions and spray tanning are one of my specialties, its great to give some one that lift that makes a difference. I love working in the hair and beauty industry, as I am continuously inspired by the creative senior stylists.
